Flexibility as a Service

FaaS: You bring your flex asset, we monetize it, you profit

We provide Flexibility as a Service (FaaS), offering an all-inclusive solution for your flexibility needs. As a one-stop shop, we support you every step of the way, from your initial consultation to achieving seamless technical market connections. Our scalable virtual power plant pools flexible energy resources, connecting flexibility providers to various layers of the energy market, such as traders, prosumers, DSOs, and TSOs. Our services encompass the connection, integration, management, and trading of flexibility assets. We create new revenue streams for our customers by strategically bidding across multiple markets to increase profitability. In addition to balancing services – FCR, aFRR, and mFRR, including Free Energy Bids and redispatch services -, the assets can be monetized on the wholesale markets, including day-ahead and intraday markets.

Features

Customize our cutting-edge software solution, rebrand, and market it on your own. You can quickly deploy a robust and scalable Virtual Power Plant (VPP) under your brand, enhancing your market presence and customer engagement.

Offer advanced flexibility management services without the extensive time and resources required for in-house development.

The solution is built on a micro-service architecture which ensures the ability to scale resources to meet demand spikes, ensuring consistent performance during varying load conditions. The system is designed to scale easily enabling simple and seamless adding of the envisioned number of distributed energy resources and users. Resource-scaling can be implemented automatically, without manual intervention. We ensure a secure connection to markets and flexibility assets via APIs or RTUs.

The Kubernetes based microservice architecture comprises modular components for different functionalities, which allow easy updates and maintenance as well as scalability by design and simple replacement of feature with customer specific modules.

Our software guarantees consistent and reliable communication, enabling seamless integration with diverse systems. We prioritize security and stability, minimize downtime, and meet the performance benchmarks with fast response times and minimal latency in data processing.

The solution is able to support a satisfying number of processing transactions per second -even during peak operational hours/periods- without degradation in performance.

*SAAS is provided under the assumption that the customer has or will have technical access to the targeted markets, including markets for balancing services. Furthermore, it is understood that the customer operates his own balance group and is already qualified for balancing services as a Balancing Service Provider (BSP).
